The conventional playbook for AI companies in 2023 was clear: pick a use case, build a product, grow it. Single focus, single product, single market. We looked at that model and decided to do something different — build a studio with shared intelligence infrastructure at the core.
The problem with single-product AI companies
Most AI products are wrappers. They take a foundation model, add a UI, and optimise for a specific workflow. The moat is thin — and getting thinner as foundation models improve. The companies that will compound are those that own something proprietary at the intelligence layer: data, signals, models trained on unique inputs, or infrastructure that makes every new application cheaper and faster to build.
That's what we set out to build. Not a product. An intelligence layer. AIVI™ and ACNVE™ are not applications — they are infrastructure. And once you have infrastructure, every new product you build on it benefits from everything you've already learned.
"Once you have infrastructure, every new product you build on it benefits from everything you've already learned."
How the studio compounds
The studio model works because each venture is both an independent product and a contribution to shared intelligence. KiranaMitra learns about retail demand patterns. LetsApplAI learns about career signal quality. BharatBnB learns about hospitality trust. That knowledge doesn't stay siloed — it feeds back into the infrastructure, making the next venture smarter on day zero.
This is why we describe WeSimplifAI as an Intelligence Infrastructure Company, not an AI services company or a SaaS business. Services don't compound. Infrastructure does.
What this means for the markets we enter
We choose categories deliberately. Every venture we launch is chosen because: there is a real-world complexity worth simplifying, there is no credible AI-native incumbent, and we can bring the shared intelligence layer to bear in a way that is genuinely defensible. We are not entering markets to compete with incumbents on features. We are entering them to become the intelligence infrastructure those markets run on.
That is the ambition. And building a studio — rather than a single product — is the only architecture that makes it achievable.
